Got my bag today, bit disappointed that there's no proper foothold for the camera. I'd rather have fixed strong padding for the top half and velcro for the bottom half so you can still customise it but feel safe that your camera won't potentially fall and crush the other compartments - I've got a Pentax KX with kit lens and I'm already seeing a bit too much giveway. Even worse if you thought about putting some food in there
Would also like to see some metal zippers/buckles too for a sturdier construction. The phone holder could also be situated lower since it currently feels like a parrot on my shoulder, very awkward to take it out if you carry anything bigger than an iPhone. But to relocate the phone holder the padded strap could need to be extended
Also, for the life of me I cannot "easily" access the top compartment without having the bag on its side. And finally yes I do have the 2.0 version, the zipper tags are now coloured red instead of white. The red does blend in more and was probably changed to prevent any prying eyes easily spotting where the zippers are.
I'd probably give this bag a 7/10. It is merely first impressions, I haven't gone outside with it but basically with sturdier inner (yet less customisable) construction & metal zippers/buckles it could be a real winner. I do enjoy looking at it though when compared to my lunchbox styled Lowepro Atlus 160 and the rain cover is great for peace of mind - possibly worth the cost for some
